Egg And Hash Brown Pie

Perfect everyday egg recipe suitable for any meal of the day. Milk and eggs mixed with hash browns, bacon, green onions, and cheddar cheese. Baked until golden brown. Topped with more cheese.
Ingredients -

6 slices Bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
5 Eggs, beaten
1/2 cup Milk
3 cups Frozen Hash Brown Potatoes, thawed
1/3 cup chopped Green Onions
1-1/2 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided

 
Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Lightly grease a 7x11-inch casserole dish.

3. In large mixing bowl, beat milk into eggs.

4. Stir in hash browns, chopped green onions, crumbled bacon, and 1 cup shredded cheese.

5. Pour egg mixture into casserole dish.Bake 35-40 minutes or until set.

6. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top. Bake additional 4 minutes, or until cheese has melted.

7. Remove from oven.

8. Let sit 5 minutes before serving.

Substitute 1/3 cup finely diced sweet onion for the green onions if necessary.
